New Showroom Hours

We are now open from 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday. We'll continue to be closed on Saturdays on long weekends. Come down to the showroom to taste the range of products we'll have open each Saturday.

Monthly Specials in the Showroom

Each month in our showroom we pick one of our favourite ingredients for the tasting table. When you visit the showroom you can taste the product, pick up a recipe or a few serving suggestions and get 10% off when you purchase anything from that range.

New Products

Winemakers Jam

They started a few years ago with the addictive Ham Jam and each year since the creators of Spoonfed Foods release another amazing savoury jam. This year the newest addition is The Winemakers Jam. It's a careful blend of caramelised onion with Shiraz, mushrooms and Port. It's the perfect partner any wine lovers meal like steak, roast meats or hard cheeses.

Udder Delights Divine Cheeses

They're back! After a couple of years away from the West Australian market, Udder Delights are again in a position to supply us with their award winning range of hand made goat and cow milk cheeses. They produce a range of very mild flavoured goat cheeses and three creamy Jersey cow milk cheeses in their factory in Lobethal in South Australia.

This is a unique range of hand made and beautifully presented Australian cheeses. Our favourite is the light, fresh goat curd, but we recommend you taste the range yourselves to find your favourite.

  • Goat Curd - fresh, light textured moist cheese in 200g tub.
  • Chevre - mild fresh cheese, great for cooking, 200g log.
  • Marinated Chevre - 325g jars of chevre marinated in herbs and garlic.
  • Goat Feta - brined in unrefined Australian sea salt, excellent pan fried, 200g block.
  • Goat Camembert - fast ripening, pungent white mould cheese, 120g rounds.
  • Goat Brie - milder than the camembert, 120g rounds.
  • Adelaide Hills Brie - traditionally made white mould cheese, softens and increases in flavour as it ripens, 200g round.
  • Adelaide Hills Camembert - white mould cheese with an earthy flavour, 200g round.
  • Heysen Blue - creamy, slightly salty blue with hints of Roquefort.

Old Emu Quince Paste

Hand made in Victoria, this is a traditional dark quince paste that is firm enough to be cut into pieces like the Spanish membrillo.

Serve it with any kind of cheese or use it glaze roast meats. Just mix a little stock, lemon juice and salt and pepper and baste your pork, chicken or duck.

Michel Cluizel Fine Chocolates - Soy Free Cooking Chocolate

Since 1947 the Cluizel family have been making chocolate from the finest ingredients. Today they are one of the last small independent chocolate manufacturers in France to work from cocoa bean to finished chocolate.

They believe that excellent chocolate can only be made from exceptional ingredients. To their hand selected cocoa beans they add only pure coarse cane sugar and Bourbon vanilla pods. They also use 100% pure cocoa butter - some manufacturers use palm oil instead of cocoa butter, even though it may not be listed on the list of ingredients.

They have even stopped using soy lecithin (used as an emulsifier) in the manufacture of all their chocolate to ensure they are all 100% GM free. This not only gives the chocolate a wonderful pure flavour, but means people who need to avoid soy in their diet can finally enjoy the delights of great chocolate.

The Grocer stocks 100g bags of Michel Cluizel chocolate chips which are perfect for choc chip cookies. Available in dark, milk and white.

We'll be expanding the range of chocolate from this unique maker over the coming months including single estate bars. Stay tuned.
