G.D. Vajra

Vajra are based in Vergne, home to some of the best vineyards for the production of elevated, aromatic Nebbiolo in Piedmonte. Aldo and Milena Vajra have been cultivating the 25 hectares of vines on their estate since 1972. As well as Nebbiolo, their land is dedicated to Barbera, Freisa, Dolcetto and Riesling Renano. Vinification involves the careful balance of modern technologies with traditional techniques, and nobody does it better. Vajra wines are reliably wonderful, full of character of the fruit, with excellent, firm structure.
