Sussingo Cabernet/Sangiovese IGT

Fattoria's Casabianca's Sussingo is a blend of 50% Sangiovese and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. After harvest the grapes are fermented at 25 degrees Celcius in stainless steel tanks, in which it spends another 6 months before bottling. In the glass it initially shows its Cabernet Sauvignon character with hints of mint, chocolate and blackberry, reveiling fragrant cherry and raspberry fruit with air and time. The palate is fresh, fruity and supple, with soft but structuring tannins and a long finish. This is simply stunning value.
