Poach Pear Pork Rillette (180g)
Rillette is sometimes known as a course pate or a confit of slow cooked, shredded potted meat.
Poach Pear pork rillette is created with slowly braised shoulder of pork, salted and pulled apart, then its natural fat added back. Hints of juniper and thyme provide the unique balance of taste and texture. The end result is a classic mix of subtle, delicate flavours with a true rustic and moreish texture.
We recommend serving rillette at room temperature to allow the flavours to come through. Serve with artisan breads on a charcuterie board or as an entrée with a simple green salad and cornichons. For something different, fold through a warm Mediterranean salad or in a scrumptious toasted sandwich made with crusty ciabatta.
