Look no further for the most flavoursome but simple rich, tomato and basil sauce. This contains: 88% tomato pulp; 7% extra virgin olive oil; 0.6% basil; carrots; salt; sugar; and onion.

This is the classic sauce that suits a wide range of Rustichella d’Abruzzo’s paste shapes and is an incredible stand-alone Napoli sauce, but can also be used as a flavour base for soups and stews. It is even ideal on pizza, over baked or broiled meat or fish, or even as a finishing sauce for risotti.
