Yarra Valley Rainbow Trout Caviar 100g

Yarra Valley Caviar is one of the only fresh water aquaculture farms of its kind to take a completely natural approach to rearing, and milking – refusing to use antibiotics or chemicals. Its fish are given plenty of room to move, milked entirely by hand, and then gently returned to the long earthen ponds in the Victorian Alps of the Yarra Valley ranges which they call home.

Yarra Valley Caviar’s Rainbow Trout caviar is a smaller sized pearl, with its own unique and subtle earthy flavour. Characterised by its strong red orange colour, the caviar appeals to many chefs as an alternative to the larger salmon pearls to create an elegant appetizer or topping to a range of varied dishes.
